AI CODING PRACTICE

Practice coding
with AI on real tickets.

Five codebases in Python and JavaScript. Find out what the client needs, direct your AI teammate, and deliver. If something’s wrong, it comes back.

Ticket LW-3, Double bookings: the ticket on the left, the code in the middle, and on the right the chat with Marta, the owner, who gives the exact times the two families booked and says back-to-back rentals must keep working. Next says: you’ve found 2 of 3 things Marta needs, ask about more cases or deliver it now.

HOW A TICKET GOES.

Ask. Direct.
Check. Deliver.

It’s how teams work with AI now. The hard part isn’t typing the code: it’s knowing what to build and catching what’s wrong.

  1. A client writesMarta: two families came for the same e-bike, and the system let both of them book it. That’s all she says at first.
  2. Ask what happenedShe only answers what you ask, and she won’t think of everything.
  3. Direct your AI teammateIt reads your chat with her, writes the code and runs the tests. It also makes the mistakes real AI makes.
  4. DeliverMarta tries it. She accepts it, or sends it back with what a customer ran into, and you find the case behind it. Each send-back costs points.
A delivery sent back: Marta says a customer wanted an e-bike for a morning slot and the system wouldn’t let her have it. This ticket now scores at most 90%.

FIVE SEASONS.

Five codebases.
30 tickets.

Each season is one business and one codebase, with six tickets: a feature, a review of the AI’s code, a bug, a slow page, tests, and a change that has to reach every part of the code. Each ticket starts from a working version of the last.

YOUR SKILLS.

Scored on how you work,
not just the result.

Every ticket ends with scores from what you did. Ask: did you find what the client needed? Direct: did the AI build it right? Verify: did you catch its mistakes? Protect: did what worked keep working? Performance: is it fast enough? Your tech lead adds one thing to do differently next time.

You don’t have to read the code: you try cases and check what comes out. The code is always there if you want it.

LW-3 accepted: Ask 60, Protect 90, Direct 90, sent back once. The tech lead’s note, then what Marta needed and what she tried.

GOOD TO KNOW.

Questions about
AI coding practice.

Something else?
team@algocademy.com

Do I need to read the code?

No. You find out what the client needs, tell your AI teammate, try cases and deliver. The code is there for anyone who wants it, and you can always write it yourself.

Which languages?

Python in Seasons 0 to 3, JavaScript (Node.js) in Season 4.

Is the AI teammate a real AI?

Yes. It writes code from what you tell it and runs the project’s tests. Each ticket also plants a few mistakes of the kind real AI tools make, so there’s always something to catch.

How is it different from interview practice?

In an interview you solve a problem alone. Here you work the way a team does now: with a client, an AI teammate and a codebase that grows from ticket to ticket.

New to coding?

Start with Booly’s Dev Agency: clients ask for apps and Booly, our AI, builds them. No code to write.
