A free Python coding game
Program Booly
Booly is a cat who does exactly what you write. Nothing more. (Mostly.) Write real Python to get him to his breakfast: moves, then loops, then if and while, a maze-solving algorithm, and finally your own functions.

Hi. I'm Booly. I do what your code says, one line at a time. If I walk into a wall, that's on you.
What you'll learn

How it works
- Write Python in the editor, or tap commands on a phone.
- Press Run. Booly runs your code one line at a time, and you watch every step.
- Three stars a level: reach the bowl, eat every treat, and use few lines.
Questions
- Is it real Python?
- Yes. What you type is Python: commands, for loops with range, while, if, elif and else, and def with parameters and return. It runs right in your browser, so lists and imports aren't part of the game.
- Who is it for?
- Anyone who has never coded. There's nothing to install, and mistakes get short, friendly messages.
- Is it free?
- Yes, with no sign-up. Your progress is saved in this browser.
- What comes after?
- Lists, strings and real programs. AlgoCademy's first lessons are free.
