BUILD WITH AI · BOOLY’S DEV AGENCY

Learn to Build
Real Apps with AI.

At Booly’s Dev Agency, clients bring projects. Booly, our AI, builds them. You find out what they need, tell Booly, and make sure it works.

Ruth’s project in Booly’s Dev Agency: on the left, the learner asks Ruth how long a password should be and whether spaces are fine, and she answers; Booly waits for the request. On the right, where the app will appear.
Ruth’s project: ask her what she needs, then tell Booly. The conversation is an example.

HOW IT WORKS.

You decide.
The AI builds. You check.

It’s how people build with AI at work: find out what’s needed, say it clearly, and check what you got.

  1. A client writesRuth wants a sign-up page that turns down weak passwords. That’s all she says at first.
  2. Ask what they needShe only answers what you ask: how long, which characters, what about spaces?
  3. Tell BoolyHe builds exactly what you tell him, typed or spoken. Leave something out, and he guesses.
  4. DeliverRuth tries it her way. She accepts it, or sends it back with the one problem she found.
A delivery sent back: Ruth says the page turned down “red tulips in may 4”, and her members write passwords just like that. Booly says sorry and asks what to change.
Sent back: Ruth found a problem your checks didn’t.

YOUR CLIENTS.

13 clients.
Real kinds of apps.

From a library’s sign-up page to a bike rental desk that remembers its bookings. The later clients bring lists, messy data and an app that remembers.

YOUR SKILLS.

Learn the skill,
not just the app.

Every client ends with three scores, counted from what you did. Asking: did you find what they needed? Directing: did Booly build it right? Checking: did you catch problems before the client did?

New to code? You never have to read it. Coded before? The Code tab is always there.

Marcus accepts both parts: everything he tried, ticked, then the learner’s stars for Directing and Checking, the questions, builds and deliveries, and a tip.
Marcus accepted both parts: what he tried, and your scores.

YOUR OWN APP.

Then bring
your own idea.

This time you’re the client. Write down what your app must do, tell Booly, write your own tries, and deliver it to yourself. Apps can use real data: books, movies, maps and the weather.

Your own app’s brief: what the app is and who it’s for (a booking page for a yoga studio), and what it must do, one need per line. Booly says he won’t see the list.
Your brief: Booly only knows what you tell him.

WHAT’S INCLUDED.

Your first client
is free.

Ruth is free for everyone, and client projects never use credits. Your own app uses build credits: a small change takes 1, a new feature 2, a first version 4.

GOOD TO KNOW.

Questions about
building with AI.

Something else?
team@algocademy.com

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You talk to clients and to Booly in plain words, and Booly writes the code. If you’ve coded before, the Code tab is always there.

If the AI writes the code, what do I learn?

What AI can’t do for you: find out what people need, say it clearly, and check what you got. That’s the job when you work with AI, and your three scores show how it’s going.

Who are the clients?

Made-up people with real problems: a librarian, a teacher, a café owner, a food bank. Each knows what they need, but only tells you when you ask.

Can I build my own app?

Yes, any time. Write down what it must do, then build it with Booly. It’s also the last project of the course, and it uses build credits.

Can I do it on my phone?

Yes, though a computer is easier. To speak instead of typing, allow the microphone when your browser asks.

Do credits expire?

PRO’s 30 a month start fresh each month. Lifetime’s 360 are yours to use whenever you like. Pack credits never expire. A build that fails gives its credits back. Client projects never use credits.
